GETC Awards Rules & Eligibility

These rules ("Awards Rules") govern submissions to, and participation in, the GETC Awards, part of the Global Energy Transition Congress 2027 ("GETC 2027"), organised by ENZARO TECH, S.L. ("we", "us", "our"). The Awards Rules apply in addition to our general Terms and Conditions, which continue to apply to anyone submitting an entry, sitting on the jury, or voting.

1. PURPOSE AND CATEGORIES

1.1 The GETC Awards recognise solutions, projects, companies and initiatives that can meaningfully advance the global energy transition. 1.2 The award categories for the current edition are: • Energy Innovation of the Year — the flagship category: the single most compelling innovation across the whole programme. • Clean Energy & Renewables — generation, conversion and integration technologies accelerating the shift to clean power. • Energy Storage & Flexibility — storage, demand response and flexibility solutions that keep energy systems balanced. • Grid & Energy Infrastructure Innovation — grid modernisation, distributed systems and infrastructure built for the next-generation grid. • Digital Energy, AI & Cybersecurity — AI, analytics and cybersecurity solutions with direct value for energy systems. • Deep Tech for Energy — deep science and engineering breakthroughs with a credible path to the energy sector. • Sustainable Mobility & Electrification — e-mobility, transport electrification and the infrastructure that supports it. • Breakthrough Technology — novel technology that doesn't fit a single category but changes what's possible. Full, current category descriptions are published on our Awards page (GETC2027.eu/en/awards). There are no category-specific eligibility criteria beyond the general eligibility criteria in Section 2; any category-specific criteria introduced for a future edition will be published on our Awards page at the time.

2. ELIGIBILITY TO SUBMIT

2.1 Submissions are open to organisations and individuals meeting the general and category-specific eligibility criteria published on our Awards page at the time of submission. 2.2 By submitting an entry, you confirm that: you are authorised to submit the entry and any accompanying materials on behalf of the organisation named in it; the information provided is accurate and not misleading; and the submission does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights. 2.3 We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to decline or withdraw any submission that does not meet these Awards Rules, at our reasonable discretion.

3. SUBMISSION PROCESS

3.1 Entries must be submitted via our official application page (Apply for the GETC Awards) by the submission deadline published on our website. Late, incomplete or incorrectly categorised submissions may be excluded at our discretion. 3.2 There is no fee to submit an entry to the GETC Awards. 3.3 We may request additional information or supporting evidence from any entrant to complete the review process.

4. JUDGING: JURY AND SCORING

4.1 Entries in each category (other than Audience Favorite, see Section 5) are assessed by an independent jury against a published 100-point scoring framework. 4.2 The composition of the jury and the scoring criteria are published on our website in advance of, or at, the Congress, so that the basis for our results can be reviewed by investors, institutions and the public. There are no closed-door decisions: the jury's scoring framework is the sole basis for category winners other than Audience Favorite. 4.3 The jury's decisions on scoring and category winners are final. We do not enter into correspondence about individual scores, save to correct a manifest administrative error. 4.4 Jury members are required to disclose any conflict of interest with an entrant and to recuse themselves from scoring that entry where a conflict exists.

5. AUDIENCE FAVORITE CATEGORY

5.1 The "Audience Favorite" category is decided by a separate, broader public vote, open to registered participants as described on our Awards page. 5.2 The Audience Favorite vote is entirely independent of the expert jury process in Section 4: the jury does not decide the Audience Favorite winner, and audience votes do not influence or contribute to the jury-scored categories. The two processes are never combined. 5.3 We may implement reasonable technical and procedural safeguards (such as one vote per registered participant) to protect the integrity of the audience vote, and may disregard votes we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or automated.

6. ANNOUNCEMENT AND USE OF RESULTS

6.1 Winners will be announced at GETC 2027 and/or published on our website and Digital Platforms, as we determine. 6.2 By submitting an entry, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your entry's name, logo, submission summary and (if you are a winner or finalist) the fact and result of your participation, in our marketing and communications relating to the GETC Awards and future editions of the Congress, in accordance with Section 11 (Photography, audio and video recording) and Section 18 (Your contribution and messages) of our Terms and Conditions.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND SUBMITTED MATERIAL

7.1 You retain ownership of the intellectual property in your submission. You grant us the licence described in Section 6.2 for the purposes stated there, and no further rights. 7.2 You are responsible for ensuring your submission does not disclose confidential or proprietary information you are not authorised to share; submissions are reviewed by jury members and (for shortlisted entries) may be referenced publicly.

8. DISQUALIFICATION AND OUR DISCRETION

We reserve the right, at our reasonable discretion, to disqualify a submission, withdraw a nomination, or decline to present an award, where these Awards Rules or our Terms and Conditions (including our Accessibility / Code of Conduct) are breached, or where we reasonably believe a submission is fraudulent, plagiarised or misrepresents material facts.

9. LIABILITY

Our Terms and Conditions (in particular the Limitation of Liability and Warranties sections) apply to the GETC Awards. Participation in the Awards does not constitute investment advice, and neither jury scoring nor Audience Favorite results are a guarantee or endorsement of any entrant's commercial or investment prospects.
